During my 20 years on the bench I've often observed how a witness' demeanor can make or break a case. Witnesses need more than assistance with presenting facts – they need to understand and know how to best present themselves and their testimony. A convincing court demeanor is seldom achieved by a few office visits with an attorney.
I highly recommend Rama Fox’s personal witness preparation services, as well as her very informative home-study witness preparation program, Ten Keys to Mastering Legal Testimony.
Witness credibility and likeability is critical in court. During depositions, astute attorneys assess how witnesses might be viewed by a Trier of Fact, which often plays a significant role in potential settlement evaluation. Although attorneys may prepare their witnesses excellently on material issues—too often they are either too busy (or don’t know how) to give witnesses the guidance necessary for the best presentation of testimony, whether in deposition or court.
It's my opinion that any attorney who thoroughly views Ten Keys to Mastering Legal Testimony will immediately realize its value – and see to it that every client witness has one, whether plaintiff or defense. A significant bonus is Rama’s unique approach to helping witnesses handle the stressors so often associated with law suits. In testimony, stress can cause a witness to be less reliable, confident and convincing.
Working with Rama Fox, personally, or utilizing her Ten Keys to Mastering Legal Testimony program can be one of the most important decisions attorneys will make for their cases.
