Rama Fox, M.A. has been successfully preparing witnesses for legal testimony since
1990. She founded Witness Preparation Service in Los Angeles, California in that year. As a premier witness preparation specialist, she has worked with both government and private law firms.
She holds a Masters Degree in Psychology and has several years of paralegal experience. Along with helping to prepare witnesses in different types of lawsuits (criminal, family law, corporate, personal injury, etc.), Rama has personally testified in over a dozen lawsuits: at trial, depositions and arbitration, both as a party and non-party witness.
Her unique experiences and training give her the knowledge and ability to address many witness' needs and concerns. Her counseling assists witness' understanding of the testimony process. Even veteran witnesses comment on discovering new testimony tools when working with her. Rama guides witnesses into highly-effective presentations for their testimony, including suggestions for dealing with opposing counsel’s strategies. She recommends insightful and highly useful techniques for handling the various stresses commonly experienced in a lawsuit.
Rama recently developed and is featured in Ten Keys to Mastering Legal Testimony, a DVD/CD home-study program for witnesses to maximize their understanding and presentation of their testimony. This exceptional program is the culmination of years of education, training and experience that produce unparalleled witness preparation results. Rama is a professional presenter: hosted a radio talk show for over three years, facilitated numerous awareness and personal growth workshops, seminars and trainings—as well as participated in hundreds of events.
CRIMINAL LAW: Rama also works with witnesses charged with criminal offenses, along with individuals who are already incarcerated. Her compassion and insight into the unique challenges facing those charged with criminal offenses is indispensible.
PRISON WORKSHOP VOLUNTEER: Apart from her work for criminal defense attorneys, Rama has volunteered at the Valley State Prison for Women (VSPW) in Chowchilla, CA. VSPW is one of the largest maximum security women's prisons in the world. She has participated in the acclaimed Freedom to Choose service workshop sponsored by the University of Santa Monica in California. Freedom to Choose works with inmates on a one-to-one basis and in small and large groups. Through this extraordinary experience, Rama has gained invaluable insight into the hearts and minds of hundreds of women from all walks of life who have been incarcerated for a broad spectrum of offenses. These women are in prison for a variety of years ... to life without the possibility of parole.
